Mr. Christie at Boxer Inspection LLC came highly recommended from our Realtor as a thorough, meticulous, and knowledgeable inspector with decades of experience. We engaged him to inspect a property that we hoped to purchase. Mr. Christie quoted a fair price (even a military discount), provided a comprehensive contract, and made payment a breeze (we even saved about $12 by paying via Zelle). The inspection took about 2 hours after which he allowed us to walk the property, as well as his findings, with him. He explained everything at a level which I could understand, was honest, quoted codes and Texas Real Estate Commission requirements like he's always known them. He didn't encourage or discourage us to purchase or not based on his findings. He allowed me to ask, what I'm SURE were a plethora of dumb questions but never made me feel less than. When the issue of not having access to a specific area of the inspection, he communicated directly with the seller. He was on time and thorough and it is obvious he is a master of his trade. After completing the inspection on a hot humid day, Eric took the time to discuss his findings with my agent and me, as well as answer my questions -- all this on a weekend. The very next day, we received an inspection report that included photos with arrows pointing to various areas of concern, along with illustrations of the proper configuration.
