The employees at this particular Kroger are consistently professional and do their job well. Specifically, Ms. Young in the meat department. She and the crew in the Meat department are like a well oiled clock. I wish i knew all their names but I'll get them and post again later this week. Their chicken and pork chop options such as $5.00 breast packs are the best and I tell you this, aren't really found anywhere even other flagship Krogers. As far as red meat, I say they have the best options there as well for everyday food and they are consistent! Everytome I go there for the past 10 years. Everytime I try a different grocery store I kinda wish I was just at the office old Kroger on Sprjng Cypress because they always have everything I need. Also, I keep meticulous totals when I shop and monitor when im checking out. They're pretty much spot on which means someone is handling the sales and prices well.

I’m always finding moldy produce at this store. Really? Don’t you guys check? That’s not even the end of it , though. You have to be careful about what you get off the shelf too because often times there’s expired products on the shelf. HEB never has this problem. Donna at checkout is knowledgeable but she always seems to be in some kind of a mood. Don’t even get me started on this lady Kristen , very rude.

Kroger is convenient, but the fresh sections are a huge letdown. The fish counter almost always smells rancid. Meats look absolutely vile: always veiny, excessively fatty, and poorly untrimmed. The discount meat packages smell spoiled the moment you open them at home and look rotten. I’ve also found plenty of items sitting on shelves well past their expiration dates. I constantly supplement my shopping at other stores like HEB for decent fresh produce, quality meats, and anything nutritious, because Kroger simply doesn’t deliver. The frozen aisle, however, is impressive at times. It’s the only reason I still go. Without it, I’d shop elsewhere entirely.

⚠️ Don’t complain to anyone at the store and instead send email to Kroger CEO or Corporate Office . All you need is basic skills and understanding how to find CEO’s ‘s email address, just figure out what email format Company uses . 🛑Kroger Deli Review – Food Safety Violations, Intimidation, and Unprofessional Conduct I am writing this because what I experienced at this Kroger was unacceptable — from spoiled deli meat to intimidation by the deli manager, to basic mistakes with weight measurements and customer treatment. 1. Spoiled deli meat handed to me I purchased small amounts of low-sodium turkey and beef. When I got to my vehicle, I immediately noticed: • The turkey was turning olive green and slimy. • The beef was brown and smelled rotten. • Both were clearly spoiled. 2. My complaint was mishandled and my identity was disclosed I returned the spoiled meat to customer service. The supervisor told the deli manager exactly who complained — something that should never happen. A couple days later, the deli manager, Delmy, rushed over and confronted me: “Well, you complained on me. I just want you to know I’m the manager.” That is intimidation. And completely unprofessional. 3. Mocking behavior On later visits, she loudly yelled to employees: “Someone please help THIS customer!” She also dangled the first slice from far away and exaggerated her tone asking, “Is this a good size?” It was childish and intentionally mocking. 4. Forced greetings before my complaint — silence afterward Before I ever complained, employees greeted me constantly. I’m in the store almost daily, and the greetings were nonstop. I’m not shopping for “hellos.” Let me shop. If I need help, I’ll ask. But after my complaints to corporate, greetings dropped by 90%, even from management — and that’s fine. I don’t care about greetings. I care about: • Not being sold spoiled food • Not being mocked or confronted • Not waiting 10+ minutes at customer service for something simple 5. Weight-measurement incompetence & misinformation This store repeatedly tells customers: • “We don’t sell under a pound.” • “The minimum is a quarter-pound.” • “The scale won’t pick up less.” • “0.15 means 15 ounces.” • “Let me add a little more so it’s a pound.” They don’t understand decimals or basic weights — and they assume customers don’t either. Even a manager admitted they are “upselling.” If I ask for 0.10 or 0.15, that is what I am paying for. Not a quarter-pound. Not a pound. H-E-B never has this problem. 6. Attempted “incentives” to smooth it over The front-end supervisor whispered for CS not to charge me for my next item. No. You don’t buy silence with freebies or discounts. Spoiled meat can put someone in the hospital. Final Thought I rarely buy deli meat at this Kroger anymore. When I do, I regret it — either because of the wait times or the constant manipulation of weight measurements. This store needs: • Employees who know food safety • Employees who understand basic weights • Employees who do NOT intimidate or mock customers I’m not asking for special treatment. Just safe food .

Never Lower, Always higher prices, compared to Walmart, HEB, etc.. even with a membership. The only way to get a deal is to buy a qty that makes no sense. Who needs 10 bottles of hand soap??, and if I did it would make much more sense to go to Costco or Sams.
