Ive adopted the sweetest dog I've ever had at this shelter. He was 1 day away from being put down, but the staff quickly directed me to him when we said we were looking for a foster. Of course, he ended up being a foster fail, but I consider that a good thing :] we've had him for almost 2 years now, couldn't ask for a better dog

We adopted our sweet girl here a few months ago and had a great experience. She is the perfect oversized snuggle bug with the happiest personality. This past weekend my parents were out of town and they got an alert that their little dog was at the shelter. They were so helpful and caring when I showed up to pick her up unaware that she had been injured. She had gotten out and was hit by a car. Someone rushed her to the shelter and they performed a reconstructive surgery that saved her life. They charged us nothing for this! She has a long road to recovery, but she is alive thanks to them. We can't begin to express how grateful we are!

Best place to find your new best friend! I adopted Stella 2 years ago. She was a stray, high heartworm-positive, and looked like she had just had babies. Today, she is heartworm-free and the most wonderful, beautiful little girl. So glad she found me!

Came in to volunteer one day and fell in love with one of the dogs. Long story short I adopted my big baby Charlie here 6 years ago. They were super helpful and provided assistance with heartworm treatments and even waived the adoption fee. He was there for a while, but I have no idea why. Even 6 years later he's a smart, gentle, playful puppy who everyone loves.

They do their best to keep the animals healthy, fed and safe. They have various adoption and foster events through the year. You can even read to the dogs during the holiday season, it helps calm the dogs. The employees and volunteers here really care about the animals and they have a roomy outdoor area with multiple fenced in areas for the dogs, should you have extra time to spare and want to walk a dog or play with one.
