Pet Paradise Houston Will Clayton

Jesse and Ninja always have fun at Pet Paradise. And I'm sure they love all the love staff gives them each time they board there. Unfortunately, after our last time there for 8 days in October 2025, Ninja came home with a cough and sneeze. Seemingly kennel cough, but Jesse had no symptoms. Anyway 5 days later Ninja became very sick. And on the 6th day he passed away. Apparently he must have aspirated on one of his coughs (from kennel cough) because his occasional cough & sneeze turned into aspiration pneumonia and it progressed fast. By the time we got him to an Emergency Vet hospital to see what was wrong, his condition was very severe, they tried to treat him immediately and for almost 12 hrs before his body just couldn't handle the illness anymore. He died 6am Friday Oct 24th. We picked him up from boarding on Saturday Oct 18th. He was one of my Autistic sons service dog and so it was even more devestating to have lost Ninja.

I am very impressed with the care provided by Pet Paradise Will Clayton’s team. They were very pleasant and patient with me and my dog Penny. It was our first time here. I had plenty of questions and of course was nervous as my 7 year old dog has separation anxiety. Gigi and Lee (I believe the manager) were very supportive and helpful. If they’ll have us again, we will definitely be coming back! My dog didn’t experience kennel cough and was actually very relaxed when she got back home. I appreciate the work the team does here. I trust them with my dog.

I had some miscommunications with the free day but i spoke with Ms. Lee and she got it all sorted out for me and my pet Nala. My dog has some extremely bad anxiety when it comes to the “vet” so in this setting the staff knew what to do and took very good care of her with helping her with that anxiety. (Update: Front desk is nice but kinda cold demeanor, but overall nice people) They do provide pictures of your pet for the day with an additional 10$. Also wish i got some photos of her in the bigger pool cause from what it seems like in the photos is they only have 1 section open for the dogs. (Update: From what i can tell they only allow 2 dogs at a time in the bigger pool / they don’t do big groups) JFK location puts all there bigs dogs in the main big pool area. Regardless my dog did wonderful from her photos, ate all her food during her boarding.

Our fur baby LOVES coming to day care everyday! The staff treat her like their own and take exceptional care of her. Highly recommend!!!

I’ve been taking my pet to Pet Paradise at the Will Clayton location for a few months now and I must say that I am VERY comfortable with my dog being at this location. The facility is very clean and the staff members are awesome. They recognize me and my pet as soon as we walk in the door and that makes us feel so welcomed. I am glad that a few of the workers from the JFK location were able to transfer over to this location. As far as the new employees go, I quickly warmed up to them and they are super kind and professional. I don’t have to worry about my pet or what she’s doing when I drop her off. I highly recommend this location to every pet mom/dad. You won’t be disappointed.
